The VBPS Optimist Dingy was on display as well. The Youth Sailing Foundation is supported by the VBPS by its members who are interested in teaching the youngsters how to build and sail these vessels in our local waters. The VBPS as well of some of its members have purchased ($1600) the Opti kits and donated them back to the YSF of IRC. These donations are then assembled, sanded, painted, rigged and then sailed in and around Indian River.
