American School Alumni Support Youth Sailing
Three guys who went to the American School in Manila a long time ago found each other at the Vero Beach Power Squadron in Vero Beach, Florida. They got together and donated a few dollars to the Youth Sailing Foundation of Indian River County to the Got Your Back advertising plan. They are working together and are in the process of working a plan to get back in touch with AS people. They would like to get contributions to support the AS Dinghy (ASD). Leslie and David are really getting excited about our "FALL COLORS AMERICAN SCHOOL of MANILA" reunion scheduled for the MARGATE Resort, Laconia, New Hampshire at Lake Winnipesaukee. Last year, Alums arrived as early as Wednesday ... also on Thursday or Friday ... and many stayed until Monday noon. So plan which dates best meet you schedule and go ahead with your room reservations. October 13th - October 17th, 2011 Thursday through Monday ROOM Reservations at the Margate Resort can be made at this time.

Ted, the stuffed white bear, wears PFD, while in boat (Optimist Dinghy),which is built in the USA by some of Vero's finest, next to the Vero Beach Power Squadron tent at the Ist Annual Rotary Club Nautical Flea Market.
